Shipping and retourn policies

cmdesign will not be responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may be incurred on international orders. Customers are responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes or other charges associated with their international order. cmdesign has no control over these charges and cannot predict them. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so customers should contact their local customs office for more information. If you refuse to pay customs duties, your order may be returned to cmdesign and you will be refunded the amount of the order, less any shipping costs incurred by cmdesign.

International shipping charges do not include duties or taxes that may be applied by customs in the destination country. All duties and taxes incurred are deemed to be the responsibility and liability of the purchaser. For more information on duties, taxes and other relevant customs regulations, please contact your local customs office directly.

Delivery times

You should be aware that delivery times can and do vary. In most cases, a tracking number is provided to the buyer to determine estimated delivery dates and times. It is possible to arrange express shipping, but this will incur an additional cost. Please request a quote for express shipping before finalising your order.

Returns

As each order is made to your selected specification and the artist does not hold stock, returns and exchanges are not accepted. However, replacements or refunds will be made for damaged or lost orders. Read on for more details:

Damaged prints/frames

If your print or frame arrives damaged or faulty in any way, a claim must be submitted to me via my contact form within one week of delivery of the print. I will reply and ask for photos of the damage as my printer and framer need these to issue a replacement. There is no need to return your damaged print or frame. In the event that your order arrives damaged, a full refund or replacement will be made at no cost to you.

Loss in transit

Orders are subject to massive delays at the moment due to the shortage of Covid and workers, as well as delays beyond my control with postal couriers. If your order has not arrived within two weeks of the dispatch date of your order, please let me know via my contact form and I will look into the matter. Orders that are not delivered within 30 calendar days are considered lost in transit and once you have let me know, I will issue either a full refund or a replacement at no cost to you.

Customs, duties and taxes

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. cmdesign is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. Delays due to orders being held in customs are beyond my control.

If your tracking information shows that your parcel is being held at customs and you have not been notified, please contact your customs office to enquire about the parcel. Unfortunately, I have no control over this as it depends on your country’s import laws.

Returns and exchanges of fine art prints and framed prints

When you buy an art print, you are making a conscious decision to buy not just a print, but an art print that will be individually printed just for you and checked for quality. Take the time to consider your decision carefully, because prints cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are made to order and the printing costs cannot be recouped. If the print does not match the product expected on my website due to an error on my part, I will offer to reship or refund the order. Photos must be submitted to show any defects (blurred, badly cut, etc.).

Cancellations or changes

Any changes to your order for unframed prints must be made within 4 hours of your order, and any changes to your order for framed prints must be made within one hour of your order. Contact me to request a cancellation or a modification of your order. If your order has not been processed and fulfilled, it will be cancelled and refunded according to your original method of payment. If your order has already started to be processed, it cannot be changed or cancelled. Once you have emailed me to request a cancellation or change, I will let you know the status of your order and whether it can be changed.

Potential delays may occur due to adverse weather conditions, public holidays or postal service issues beyond our control.

Processing times

All orders are processed within 2-5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) of receiving your order confirmation email. Processing times include making your artwork to your chosen specifications and/or preparing it for dispatch. Processing times are separate from shipping times. The most precise processing times are as follows:

Fine art prints: 2-4 working days

Framed prints: 3-5 working days
